Responsible Gaming
Gambling Should Be Entertainment
At maff2023.com, we promote Vegas Hero as a form of entertainment only. Gambling should never be viewed as a way to earn money, pay bills, or solve financial problems. It carries real risks and should only be enjoyed responsibly with money you can afford to lose.
Age Verification
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction) to use Vegas Hero or access our affiliate content. By continuing, you confirm that you meet this legal requirement in Great Britain.
It is illegal for under-18s to gamble. We take age verification seriously and reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If you recognise any of these warning signs in yourself or someone else, seek help immediately:
- Spending more time or money gambling than intended
- Chasing losses by gambling more to try to win money back
- Hiding gambling activity or lying about how much you gamble
- Neglecting family, friends, work, or studies because of gambling
- Borrowing money or getting into debt to finance gambling
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling
- Needing to gamble with larger amounts to get the same excitement
- Failed attempts to cut down or stop gambling
- Using gambling to escape problems or emotional stress
- Jeopardising relationships, education, or employment
Self-Help Tools
Most responsible gambling platforms, including Vegas Hero operators, offer tools to help you stay in control:
- Deposit Limits: Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit
- Loss Limits: Restrict the total amount you can lose within a specific timeframe
- Reality Checks: Receive pop-up reminders of how long you've been playing and how much you've spent
- Session Limits: Set automatic time limits for your gaming sessions
- Self-Exclusion: Temporarily or permanently close your account to take a break from gambling
- Account Cooling-Off: Request a period (typically 24 hours to several weeks) before accessing your account
Use these tools proactively. They are designed to protect you and help maintain healthy gambling habits.
